The UMass Lowell Music Department presents a wide range of concerts each week, featuring classical, rock, jazz, and everything in between! All concerts are held in the Moloney Performing Arts Center on South Campus, and are free and open to the public. Here's what's happening this week:

University Orchestra Concert
Monday, April 14 at 8 p.m. (Moloney Performing Arts Center - MPAC - Concert Hall)
Join the University Orchestra in the Moloney Performing Arts Center for a concert of music ranging from Beethoven and Bartok to music with electronics by living composer Alexandra Gardner.

Guitar Ensemble Concert
Tuesday, April 15 at 8 p.m. (MPAC Fisher Recital Hall)
Fusion, rock, jazz, and more. Contemporary and classic repertoire for ensemble arranged for guitar with rhythm section.

An Evening of Medieval & Renaissance Music Concert
Wednesday, April 16 at 8 p.m. (MPAC Fisher Recital Hall)
Come enjoy an evening of music of varying styles from the Renaissance and Baroque Eras. Presented by the Early Music Ensemble in the Department of Music, the concert will also feature the UMass Lowell Chamber Singers.

Junior Recital - Michael DePamphilis & Pumpkin St. Pierre
Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m. (MPAC Fisher Recital Hall)
Join us for an evening of diverse musical talent as vocalist Michael DePahmphilis and pianist Pumpkin Alice St. Pierre present their Junior Recitals, each showcasing their unique artistry in back-to-back performances.

Jazz Rock Big Band Concert
Thursday, April 17 at 8 p.m. (MPAC Concert Hall)
The Jazz Rock Big Band, UMass Lowell’s premier large jazz ensemble, will be performing contemporary big band jazz.

Senior Recital - Robert DeRosa
Friday, April 18 at 8 p.m. (MPAC Fisher Recital Hall)
Euphonist Robbie DeRosa presents his senior recital entitled Jekyll and Hyde: A Tale of 2 Musicians.

Contemporary Electronic Ensemble Concert
Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. (MPAC Concert Hall)
Since 2002, UMass Lowell’s Contemporary Electronic Ensemble has been pushing the boundaries of music with groundbreaking, dynamic performances that challenge and excite. Our students craft original compositions and innovative arrangements, using electronics as the core of their creative expression.

Senior Composition Capstone Concert - Brady Mason
Saturday, April 19 at 7 p.m. (MPAC Fisher Recital Hall)
Composer Brady Mason presents a captivating collection of original electronic works from their time at UML. Blending contemporary influences and innovative techniques to create captivating soundscapes.
