New Email Signature Celebrates UML’s R1 Designation

In February, UMass Lowell was officially named a Carnegie-classified Research 1 university, a prestigious designation used to identify the nation’s top research institutions. Only 7% of four-year universities are designated R1.

To help celebrate and promote the UMass Lowell R1 designation, the Office of Brand, Communications & Creative Strategy (BCCS) created a dynamic graphic that can be added to your UMass Lowell email signature.

This signature should replace the previous Wall Street Journal ranking graphic, which is now out of date.

To add the R1 graphic, visit the email signature app, fill out the form and the copy and paste into your email platform’s signature settings. Instructions on how to navigate Outlook to update your signature are available at the bottom of the signature update page.
