Happy 2025, everyone! It’s a new year and Intersession at UMass Lowell is under way. Whether you’re a student or a faculty member, the UML Library staff is ready to help answer questions and connect you to the information you need during Intersession.

From January 6-20, excluding holidays and university closures, we’ll be offering the following remote library reference services:

Live Chat reference will be available in real time, Monday - Wednesday from 12:30-4:30 p.m. and Friday from 1-3 p.m. Start chatting.

On Monday, January 20, reference services will be closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Can’t make it to Live Chat hours during Intersession? No problem! You can reach out to the reference librarians to send questions or schedule a Zoom Virtual Consult by sending an email to ask@uml.libanswers.com.

Regular reference services, including in-person walk-up research help, will resume when the spring semester begins on Tuesday, January 21.
