The fall semester may be over, but Intersession at UMass Lowell is just around the corner! Whether you’re a student or a faculty member, the UMass Lowell Library staff is ready to help answer questions and connect you to the information you need during Intersession.

From Dec. 23 through Jan. 3, excluding holidays and university closures, we’ll be offering the following remote library reference services:

On Monday, Dec. 23, Live Chat reference will be available from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Just visit uml.libanswers.com to get started. Reference services will be closed the rest of that week for the holidays.

During the first days of Intersession (Monday, Dec. 30 to Tuesday, Dec. 31) you can contact a reference librarian by sending an email to ask@uml.libanswers.com, but services will be closed for New Year’s Day.

After New Year’s, Live Chat reference will be available on Friday, Jan. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Can’t make it to Live Chat hours? No problem! You can reach out to the reference librarians to send questions or schedule a Zoom virtual consult by sending an email to ask@uml.libanswers.com.

We’ll follow up in a few weeks with another post detailing library reference services for the second part of Intersession, beginning on Jan. 6.
