The Rist Institute for Sustainability and Energy at UMass Lowell is excited to launch our 2024-25 indoor farmer’s market season.

The indoor farmer’s market at University Crossing will feature fresh produce from our partner Mill City Grows, along with a rotation of goods offered by local small businesses. The market season kicks off on Dec. 11 and will run every other Wednesday until April 2 in University Crossing from 1 to 4 p.m.

For our Holiday Market on Dec. 11 you can expect to see: F-Word Farm, Carlisle Honey, Mill City Mercantile, The Green Place, Hope Noel Jewelry, Gary Destramp, Carrs Confections and Craic Sauce! Mill City Grows will be at all markets starting Jan. 22.

Throughout the season, keep an eye out for Taste the Acre events. These events will feature a sampling from restaurants, coffee shops, markets and cafes in the Acre Neighborhood of Lowell.
