UMass Lowell blues combo John Shirley and The Lifers will be playing downtown from 9 p.m. to midnight this Saturday night, Nov. 2, at Warp and Weft, 197 Market St. The show will feature a mix of faculty and students playing lively blues, rock and funk — with a smidge of punk.
The band includes Josh McDonough (guitar), Graham Nasson (drums), John Shirley (vocals, harmonica) and Stav Tzortzis (bass).
Special guests will also join in the fun throughout the evening, including Ben Ditomaso (guitar), Isaac Stormont (sax), Zane Mawhinney (guitar), Alex Tunheim (guitar) and more.
