Join us virtually this Friday 25th October 2024 at 11 a.m. at "The Work Environment Career Conversation" via zoom.

This series introduces students to professionals in the field of occupational safety and health. This is a rewarding and highly interdisciplinary area which draws on skills from many disciplines: public health, engineering, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, environmental sciences, etc. Professionals in this field focus on protecting people, workplaces and the environment, with career opportunities around the New England region and beyond.

About the speaker: Cesar Morocho is Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environment for Citizens Bank, with responsibilities for ergonomics and indoor air quality. He is a UMass Lowell alumnus, with a MPH, plus MS and PhD degrees in Biomedical Engineering & Biotechnology.

Our speaker will be participating remotely; there is no on-campus component to the webinar this time.

The series is open to undergraduate and graduate students in all departments. Come to learn how your own skills could be applied to various types of work in the public and private sectors. Please spread the word to your friends and colleagues.

You are welcome to Dr. Laura Punnett directly if you want to be added to the mailing list for this series, see videos of past speakers, or learn more about the Work Environment training program at UML.
