The UMass Lowell Moloney Student Scholar Fund provides funding for unpaid internship opportunities. Funding is available for work opportunities off-campus with non-profits & government agencies, in addition to funding for on-campus projects with faculty/staff.

  • Student Eligibility: Open to both undergraduate and graduate, fully matriculated students, minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000.
  • Work Details: Eligible students are awarded up to $2,500 in hourly wages. Students will be paid on the university's bi-weekly pay schedule.
  • Application Timeline: The 2025 Spring semester Moloney Student Scholar Fund applications will be open from Oct. 18 to Nov. 10, 2024. All applicants will be notified of their program status by Nov. 22, 2024.
  • Application process: Submit resume and statement of intent through the Moloney Student Scholar Fund Handshake application.
