Jay Lang, graduate of the UML School of Education's Leadership in Schooling Ed.D. program, is the 2024 recipient of the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents President’s Award. Lang has been the superintendent of Chelmsford Public Schools since 2015. Prior to that, he served as deputy superintendent of finance and operations for the Lowell Public Schools for 13 years. He actively supports the School of Education by serving as an advisory board member and offering teacher candidates field experience opportunities in the Chelmsford schools. He is also a new member of the UML pickleball community. Congratulations, Jay!
