Chancellor Julie Chen is inviting all faculty and staff to join her on Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. on the Campus Recreation Center front lawn to say thank you for a year of hard work and dedication advancing UMass Lowell’s mission. Family is also invited. Kindly RSVP by Aug 13. 


Campus Recreation would also like to offer faculty and staff the opportunity to drive to the Boathouse for a free 1-hr paddle starting at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. UML ID must be presented at this time.

Don’t forget to visit the RiverHawk Shop on Aug. 20 and 21 for a 20% discount. UML ID must be presented at time of purchase.

There will be two buses for the Social this year. One bus will run from the bus circle at North Campus to the Rec Center. The second bus will run from the South Campus Wilder Street bus stop and travel to the University Crossing bus stop on Salem Street on the way to the Rec Center. Buses will run every 15-20 minutes starting at 1:30 p.m. The last pickup at the Rec Center will be 4:10 p.m. Track the buses in real time at uml.edu/LiveTransit.
