The Voices of Working Women team is hoping you have more flexibility during Spring Break and can join the Voices of Working Women (VOWW) group on Monday, March 4 at noon in UCC 260 for an informal, brown bag lunch.

A lot has happened since our luncheon last year and we’re hoping to come together to share how we’re doing and what we can do to support each other. We’re asking folks to bring their own lunch, but we will provide some light refreshments.

Please email VOWW@uml.edu if you plan to join us.

VOWW is a project co-sponsored by the Labor Education Program and the Center for Women & Work (CWW). Our goals are:

  • To share workplace experiences with others at UML
  • To identify issues that all working women at UML share
  • To create an understanding of the unique issues facing women in different types of jobs
  • To create a community of women involved in solving collectively defined issues/problems
