Biosketch

Qianlei (Charley) Chen has worked as a diplomatic attaché in Brussels (Belgium) for the Chinese Mission to the European Union as well as for a national consultancy in China on foreign trading and investment promotions. Afterwards, he worked for INTERSPORT International Corp. (Bern, Switzerland) as Market Consultant for the Great China Area. He has extensive experiences in cross cultural exchange and marketing, business communications and negotiation from his diplomatic and consulting professions.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Management at the Renmin University of China, and an MBA diploma accredited jointly by the Fordham University (USA) and the Peking University of China. He also attended one year “EU-China Manager Exchange and Training Program” at China Europe International Business School (Shanghai), Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), and ESCP Business School in Paris (France). 

He has instructed two marketing courses, Global Marketing and Marketing Principles, at UMass Lowell.
