Biosketch
Joyce Wise is the Chair of the Math Department at Alvirne High School. Prior to transitioning to math education, Joyce worked in the Accounting Department for privately owned companies. Joyce has taught as an adjunct professor teaching courses in accounting, finance, and business communications at various universities since 2008. Joyce has a very student-centered approach to education and strong leadership skills, which earned her the 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year Award at Alvirne High School.
