Physics & Applied Physics

The Department of Physics has an undergraduate major that results in a Bachelor of Science degree and two graduate degree programs: Master of Science and Doctorate in Physics. Our faculty direct externally funded centers and conduct pioneering, cutting-edge research in nuclear physics, radiation science, terahertz technologies, advanced materials, photonics device fabrication techniques, and biomedical photonics applications.
