The ONCAMPUS Boston program is a one-year transfer program that gives international students the chance to earn college credit while getting used to living in the United States. Students will begin their education at Curry College. Once they have met the following conditions, they will transfer to UMass Lowell (UML) to complete their education.

Credit Transfer and Admission

Admission to the university, scholarship offerings and transfer of credits are contingent upon the criteria listed below: 
  • Successfully complete a minimum of 24 academic credits in the ONCAMPUS Boston program
  • Cumulative 2.5 GPA and degree-specific admission criteria
  • Attendance of 85% or above at ONCAMPUS Boston
  • A grade of “C” or higher in WRIT 1400 and WRIT 1500, a 79 TOEFL, a 6.5 IELTS or a Duolingo score of 110
Curry College courses that transfer to our UMass Lowell are listed in the UML Transfer Dictionary. Please be advised that transfer credits accepted by the university may not be applicable to certain majors.
Specific high-demand majors that are excluded from this conditional letter of acceptance include the following:
  • B.S. in Education
  • B.S. in Nursing degrees
  • B.S. in Applied Biomedical Sciences with options in Medical Lab Science and Clinical Lab Science

Scholarships

Students who complete the ONCAMPUS program with a 3.00 cumulative college GPA or higher will be eligible for scholarships up to $20,000 per year; these are renewable up to three years, provided students maintain the required GPA. International students must demonstrate their ability to meet the full cost of attendance by submitting a completed International Financial Support Form with their application for admission. Applicants who are unable to secure the needed funding to cover the cost of attendance through private funds or need-based aid cannot obtain a visa document to enroll at the university.
