Operations Engineer Quinn Murphy

As an operations engineer for NetSuite, Quinn Murphy’s online work life is portable. He supports multiple systems from his work space, which for a few years was in his home, five minutes from downtown Lowell. At the end of March, he signed on at the Innovation Hub. 

Working at home “is just not the same as having people in front of you,” says Murphy. “Telecommuting has its good points, but there’s something about being with other people. I believe in the fateful collisions of real life.” 

"This space is incredible,” says Murphy. “I’ve been to see other places, but this is by far the nicest. I like well-developed spaces and this certainly is one of those. And (iHub Director) Tom O’Donnell brings an energy to the place. He believes in it and that can be infectious. I just know it’s gonna grow.”
