Biosketch
As Associate Director at the UMass Lowell Innovation Hub, Lisa is responsible for planning, implementing and managing program activities. She is the primary day-to-day contact for inventors/entrepreneurs and external partners collaborating at the Innovation Hub.
Prior to her current assignment she worked for Mercury Computer Systems Inc. for 18 years in Marketing Communications. Building on her corporate experience at Mercury, she held a number of positions with entrepreneurial companies. Lisa worked at Safety Partners Inc., which specializes in developing health and safety programs for small- and mid-sized biotechnology firms.
Following Safety Partners she joined a progressive start-up, Cephos Corp., which specialized in brain-based lie detection and forensic DNA analysis.
Lisa joined UMass Lowell part-time in 2012 as the Assistant to the Chair of the Department of Management. In 2013, she took a full-time position as Coordinator of Student Success in the Manning School of Business.
She graduated from UMass Lowell in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
