The Innovation Hubs focus on linking start-up innovators and entrepreneurs with the research and development, business mentoring and financial resources needed to develop a new venture in the greater Merrimack Valley.

Our spaces address the needs of "open innovation" startups by offering them work and laboratory space and access to office resources in the short term, rather than long-term, expensive business leases.

A startup may only need one desk and internet access for six months, then a private office and lab space for a year, then room for six employees. Many startups like to locate with other startups – where they learn from, and share with each other.

Innovation Hub Locations

  • The Lowell Innovation Hub, located at 110 Canal St., is a sustainability-focused incubator/accelerator is an organization that supports and nurtures startup businesses with a primary emphasis on clean energy, sustainable chemistry, environmental and other innovations.
  • The Haverhill Innovation Hub, located at 2 Merrimack St., 3rd Floor, is the place for startups and entrepreneurs to develop, nurture and grow their business in Haverhill along the Merrimack River.
