Biosketch
Christine W. Hartmann, Ph.D., concentrates her research on improving the quality of nursing home care, including working with staff to build high-functioning, relationship-based teams that focus on providing high-quality individualized care. Her research grant portfolio as principal investigator, with funding from the Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Institutes of Health, totals over $17 million. She believes firmly in supporting and collaborating with early career researchers and has an established track record in this area. In her free time, she writes books and blog posts. She runs a grant-writing website, write better proposals, to help faculty with grant writing and mentoring.
