Biosketch

Samantha Zimmermann, DPT, received both her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science (2010) and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2012) at Simmons College. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, starting as an Active Duty PT in the US Navy from 2013 to 2019 where she worked primarily with the United States Marine Corps, specifically the Infantry, Marine Officers in training, and Special Operations populations. While in the service, Samantha completed two residencies in orthopedics and sports, earning both her OCS and SCS. She deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan in support of the joint (NATO) Special Operations task force, providing physical therapy services to US servicemembers as well as our international allies. An avid runner, she also focused on race medicine, most significantly gaining experience with leadership roles in the Marine Corps Marathon medical staff. She currently practices at Elite Care Physical Therapy in Windham, NH which she founded in 2024, providing her patients with expertise in sports, orthopedics, and pelvic floor physical therapy as well as dry needling and cupping. In addition she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Zimmermann is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
