Biosketch

Tracey Houle has been an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Physical Therapy and Kinesiology at The University of Massachusetts Lowell since 2012. She teaches Cardiopulmonary Lab and Neurological Physical Therapy Lab courses.

After graduating from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2005, she began her career at Newton Wellesley Hospital working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, treating a large variety of patient populations. Her areas of expertise include cardiac, pulmonary, neurological rehabilitation and clinical education in the acute rehabilitation setting, of which she has practiced in since 2006 at Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital.

Houle is a physical therapist and clinical educator who is passionate about bridging the gap between academics and clinical practice to improve the overall quality of patient care.

She is a licensed physical therapist in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She is also an active member of the APTA and a member of the Cardiopulmonary, Neurology, Geriatrics and Acute Care Practice special interest groups.
