Brenda Roundtree is a transplant from the East Coast, born in Springfield, MA, moved to Arizona when she was very young until recently, and relocated to New Mexico. She lives in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She also has a bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics from Arizona State University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Grand Canyon University (GCU). She also has a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). Brenda teaches nutrition classes for Arizona College of Nursing, Great Falls College-Montana State University, Estrella Mountain Community College, and New Mexico State University.
She is passionate about diabetes. While resources for managing diabetes are available, there is a significant gap in connecting people with the resources for disease management. She is also interested in Alzheimer’s disease, yet there is still so much to learn about it, particularly genetic associations.
