Biosketch

Emma Rodman is a political theorist with research interests in American political thought, democratic theory, computational linguistics, and the meanings and histories of political concepts. Her work has appeared in American Political Thought, Political Analysis, and Law, Culture, and the Humanities. She received her doctorate from the University of Washington (2020) and previously held a Values and Public Policy postdoctoral research associate position at Princeton University.

Research Currently in Progress

Prof. Rodman is currently at work on papers about the idea of political judgment, the concept of alienation, the political thought of Martin Luther King, Jr., and a book manuscript on the idea of equality in America.
