String Ensembles, coached by adjunct faculty member and orchestra conductor, Mark Latham, vary from year to year in size and scope. Past performances have included Barber's "Adagio for Strings," the world premiere of UML alumnus Derek Weagle's "Serenade for Horn and Strings" and Brahms' "String Sextet No. 1 in Bb Major."
