Opera Workshop offers students an exciting opportunity to sing the great musical and operatic repertoire in solo and ensemble scenes as well as in adaptations of full shows and musical revues. Training is provided in acting and staging technique along with dramatic and musical coaching. Adaptations have included: Into the Woods, Hansel and Gretel, The Marriage of Figaro, A little Night Music, Orpheus in the Underworld, Of Thee I Sing, Cinderella and many more. Revue themes include Before the Golden Age, Broadway: Gothic and Grimm, Famous Opera Party Scenes and Mega Hit Musicals. Opera Workshop is directed by Janice Giampa and Elaine Smith Purcell.
