2024/2025 UMass Lowell's Model United Nations Conferences
UMLMUN Crisis Conference 2024: November 22 and 23, 2024
UMass Lowell's Model UN team invites your school to join us for our annual crisis conference. Unlike traditional Model UN simulations, crisis puts delegates into the roles of heads of state, policy makers or government actors responding to some type of crisis. The crisis scenarios may be historical or contemporary, based on real world events or potential issues that have not come to pass. Regardless, students will use their critical thinking, debate and logic skills to find a resolution to the crisis. Past crisis scenarios have included the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Fall of the Soviet Union, the Death of Stalin, Climate Disasters and Global Pandemics. Please join us for this exciting twist on traditional Model UN
