Meeting versus Webinar on Zoom
A meeting format should be used when “hosting more interactive sessions where you’ll want to have lots of audience participation or break your session into smaller groups.”
A webinar format should be used for “large audiences or events that are open to the public such as a town hall.”

Scheduling a Remote Meeting Event Checklist
- Log into 25Live Scheduling and select "Meeting" for the event type.
- Then select “*Remote” for the location when booking a virtual/remote event.
- Make note in the description information on how to register for the event if necessary as well as a point of contact.

- Log into 25Live Scheduling and select “Webinar” for the event type.
- Then select “*Remote” for the location when booking a virtual/remote event.
- Make note in the description information on how to register for the event if necessary as well as a point of contact.
- Indicate in the event comments who the presenters are as well as a time that works best for practicing using the webinar platform. This time can be any time up to thirty minutes before the event.
