Professional Societies

Students and faculty members attend periodic meetings of the local and national chapters of a wide-range of professional and trade organizations affiliated with the chemical engineering field.

Scholarships

The Chemical Engineering department annually distributes scholarships on a competitive basis based on either academic merit, financial need or a combination of both. Currently, there are three endowed scholarships and several department scholarships.

Co-op Program

The Chemical Engineering department has a flexible Co-Op program that is coordinated through the UMass Lowell Career & Co-op Center. Technical elective credit can be obtained for professional-level experience in the Co-op program. For more information, contact Nese Orbey.
