Lorna Boucher ’86 epitomizes the spirit of dedication and success that defines UMass Lowell alumni.
Her journey from Lowell to Wall Street began at the Manning School of Business, where she earned a degree in marketing and international management. Since then, she has excelled in the fast-paced world of marketing and finance. Currently the chief marketing and communications officer at Imperative Execution, a Wall Street trading venue, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. Her work in the financial sector includes executive positions at prestigious institutions such as UBS and Instinet, where she played pivotal roles in shaping global equities strategy and communication.
Despite her demanding schedule, Boucher remains deeply connected to her alma mater. She serves as chair of the Manning School Advisory Board and established the Lorna Boucher ’86 Endowed Scholarship for women business majors, making a lasting impact on the university community.
Her dedication to mentorship and empowerment extends beyond financial support. As a keynote speaker at the Women’s Leadership Conference and a judge for the Rist DifferenceMaker competitions, Boucher inspires students to pursue their passions and embrace diversity. As a founding board member of the global organization Sustainable Trading, she advocates for environmental and social responsibility in the financial sector.
A proud member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Council, Boucher received a University Alumni Award in 2017 and was a Circle of Honor Inductee in 2023.
After nearly three decades in Manhattan, Boucher now lives in Exeter, New Hampshire, where she is restoring her 1742 colonial home.
