Architectural Studies Minor

The Architectural Studies minor consists of a set of interdisciplinary courses that allows students to develop skills and engage with issues related to the built environment. The range of courses in the concentration span artistic, cultural, social, environmental and technological areas of study related to a variety of new careers emerging within traditional areas of study. The minor can be paired with majors from across the university: from Sociology and Studio Art within FAHSS to majors in Engineering, Business, or Public Health. It can also help students prepare for graduate study in architecture, urban planning, preservation and conservation of historic sites, and landscape architecture.

The Architectural Studies minor consists of 18 credits, six of which must be at the 3000 level or above.
