Mission Statement

The Electrical & Computer Engineering Department mission for undergraduate education is to provide a thorough grounding in electrical science, electrical engineering, and computer engineering, together with an intensive training in mathematics. The techniques of experimental science and technology are emphasized through investigative laboratory work and classroom lecture/demonstrations.

Overview / Description

The Electrical & Computer Engineering Department offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET  under the commission’s General Criteria and Electrical Engineering Program Criteria. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Computer Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET  under the commission’s General Criteria and Computer Engineering Program Criteria. Faculty embrace the mission of serving a technologically oriented department, closely linked to regional and national industry.
