The Jazz Rock Big Band, UMass Lowell’s premier large jazz ensemble, will be performing contemporary big band jazz. Featured on the program will be music from the Stan Kenton band, Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Charles Mingus, Quincy Jones, and jazz arranging greats Sammy Nestico and Hank Levy.
