Opera Workshop Concert

The ancient Myth of Orpheus - the singer who can break the powers of hell - is one of the most performed stories in the history of the musical stage. Opera Workshop will present the myth through selected scenes from three famous works: Orpheus in the Underworld, the hilarious spoof by Offenbach;  Orfeo and Euridice, the masterpiece by Gluck; and Hadestown, the contemporary musical sensation. Is the story a comedy, a tragedy, or just the way life is? Find out on Friday, November 22 at 8 p.m. in the MPAC Recital Hall.

Free and open to the public!
