John Shirley and the Lifers are a band that covers blues, rock, funk and a bit of punk. They are made up of UMass Lowell faculty, alumni and students. Each show also includes special guest performers. These shows are off-campus at Warp and Weft in downtown Lowell. Professor John Shirley directs. Free and open to the public.
