UML Philosophy and Film Series - "Election"

The UML Department of Philosophy hosts FREE monthly screenings of popular films at the Luna Theater, followed by a short talk and discussion with a member of the faculty. This fall's theme is "Democracy and Elections."

Screenings are at the Luna Theater, inside Mill No. 5 (250 Jackson St., 4th floor) and begin at 7:05. The event is free and open to UML students, faculty, and the public.

In October, Assistant Professor Dr. James Garrison will be presenting the 1999 film Election, starring Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick. Come be inspired to think about the meaning of democracy in our time!
