The UMass Lowell Cyber Range is a center for cybersecurity education, research and workforce development. Students have the opportunity to practice cybersecurity attacks and defenses in a live, yet safe, environment. The Cyber Range is also used for cybersecurity club gatherings, research projects and continuing education courses.
The Cyber Range includes:
- 20 workstations
- Conference room
- Lecture theater
Each workstation allows students to conduct live cyberattacks across the computers located in the Cyber Range, which are safely isolated from the public internet.
UMass Lowell is proud to be the first public university in Massachusetts to open a Cyber Range that will contribute to the cyber talent in our region.
