The Center for Autism Research and Education (CARE) at UMass Lowell has an affiliates group made up of autistic individuals, family members, and professionals in the field. The Affiliates help guide the research and service work of CARE, and help ensure we are conducting work that is meaningful to the autism community.

Including the voices of autistic individuals themselves in the work we do is central to the goals of CARE. In turn Affiliates have the opportunity to network with CARE faculty and students, professionals in the field and other members of the group, to get involved with research projects, and contribute to the work of CARE.
