Description: Parachute suspension lines are made of a braided structure that can vibrate in the air when a parachute is in use. In order to understand why this happens the mechanical behavior of this braided structure is being assessed computationally using Abaqus CAE and TexMind. This will help determine properties of this material and give insight to why the structure behaves the way it does.
