Biosketch
Wen Zhu is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Operations and Information Systems Department at UMass Lowell, and serves as the River Hawk Scholars Academy (RHSA) Faculty Advocate.
She received her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and a master's degree in Healthcare Systems Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Her research interests include Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Operations and Supply Chain Management, explicitly modeling and analyzing order fulfillment in online retail supply chains. Her articles have been published in the International Journal of Production Economics and Int. J. of Industrial and Systems Engineering. She has presented her work at the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS) Annual Meeting and Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) Annual Conference.
She has taught Operations Management, Managerial Quality Control, and Simulation and Optimization for Business Analytics.
