Instructional Technology Services (ITS) supports all the technologies available for faculty use in UMass Lowell classrooms, labs, lecture halls and conference rooms. Each classroom has at its minimum a computer, video/data projection and sound, along with an internet connection.
Other instructional technology tools available in many classrooms include document cameras and a Sympodium, a tool that allows faculty to annotate presentations or any application running on a computer. All classrooms – more than 160 rooms at present – offer Lecture Capture, allowing students to view recorded sessions or you can have them live-streamed.
Instructional Technology Services can assist you with the following:
- Classroom Technology Help - Need assistance for technology in the classroom?
- Lecture Capture (Echo360) Help - Confused or have questions about lecture capture technology here at UMass Lowell?
- Conference Help - There are selected sites throughout the UMass Lowell campus where video conferences can be conducted.
- Technology Consulting - Need help determining what technology would work best in your classroom, conference room or lab?
