UMass Lowell offers a wide variety of programs to help you build skills for the role you have today, and to help foster your career growth and personal development.
The quality of UMass Lowell's success depends on its most valuable asset - our staff and faculty. In recognition of this, Employee Learning, Engagement and Development (ELED) is dedicated to life-long learning to enable growth and development through innovative high-quality educational and professional development programs, resources and services. We also provide consultative services to improve individual, team and organizational effectiveness.
Our goal is always to offer programs that support development, promote success in the workplace and encourage even greater participation. These resources include but are not limited to training classes and workshops, management and team development programs, certificate programs and many more.
Most of the courses have a capacity of 20 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is on a voluntary basis, with supervisory guidance. Employees should discuss any training plans and dates with their supervisor to ensure there is adequate coverage. To the extent that it is possible and practical, supervisors should encourage their staff to attend. We also are happy to facilitate any of our programs for your intact team. Please contact our office for more information.
