The master of science in chemical engineering program allows graduate students to study the fundamental applications of chemical engineering principles at an advanced level.

The program in energy engineering is designed to prepare students to perform state-of-the-art work on energy systems. Options tracks in solar energy (through the Department of Mechanical Engineering) and nuclear engineering are available.

To encourage outstanding undergraduate students to continue their studies toward an advanced degree, the College of Engineering and Graduate Admissions offer a program of accelerated study leading to the dual degrees of a bachelor of science in engineering and a master of science in engineering.
These courses are geared towards either recent bachelor's degree graduates or professionals who want to explore an engineering specialty without making the commitment of a full-fledged graduate program. Graduate certificates can be earned in:
