The BLA concentration in Health Studies is an interdisciplinary concentration that offers students the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of health from multiple perspectives. Topics explored include anatomy and physiology, the role of nutrition and physical activity and the impact of aging on health and disease. The variety of health related topics will help students prepare for a variety of careers, such as art therapy, music therapy, and many social service fields.
The BLA concentration in Health Studies requires a minimum of 19-20 credits total (depending on choice of 3 or 4 credit “Core” course).
