Bachelor of Liberal Arts - Political Science Concentration

The BLA Concentration in Political Science is designed to provide a knowledge of the nature of politics and government on the local, state, national, and international levels and of the functions and theories of the state. Media and Politics, African Politics, Politics of the Internet, and Legislative Politics are courses that enable the student to develop an understanding of the political process and an ability to analyze political systems, relationships, and problems.

Required Courses

A minimum of 6 courses in Political Science.

• POLI.2010 Introduction to Political Analysis
• Two 1000-2000 level or “any level” Political Science courses
• Three 3000-4000 level Political Science courses
