Meeting with Disability Services

Disability Services is an Appointment-Based service.

Booking an appointment: To book an appointment with Disability Services, a student must first register with our office.

Registration with Disability Services: To register with Disability Services please follow the Disability Registration Process.

Students who are registered with Disability Services: Students who have already had an Intake Appointment and are fully registered with Disability Services can Log in to Accommodate to book an appointment.

Important Student Updates

Registration with Disability Services

Fall 2024 registration deadline. The last day to register and receive accommodations for Fall 2024, is December 5, 2024.

Spring Intake appointments start on January 6, 2025. Students may now start the registration process with Disability Services by completing the Public Accommodations Request form and upload their documentation.

Semester / Accommodations Requests

Accommodations requests for Fall 2024 will close onDecember 5, 2024. If you are planning on using your accommodations for Fall Finals, you need to submit your Accommodations request.

Intake Appointments: All students who have started the registration process and have received a confirmation email approving their documentation can login onto Accommodate with your student credentials to book their intake appointments. The last day for appointments for Fall 2024 is December 5, 2024.

Testing Center Information

Student who are registered with Disability Services and need access to the Testing Center, must login onto Accommodate and submit their Accommodations Request.

Students not registered with Disability Services and have never had access to the Testing Center, please complete a Public Accommodations Request form to request access. Once approved, you will receive an email on how to proceed.

Students who have previously been granted access to the Testing Center, but do not have access for the current semester, please email: Disability@uml.edu with your Name and Student ID to request access.

Students who need to schedule a make-up exam for a past semester, please contact the Testing Center directly as they will need to do this manually.

  • Dec. 3 is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. To recognize this day, and the importance of reducing disability stigma, Disability Services has created a 5-minute video highlighting interviews with River Hawk students who identify as a person with a disability.

Report Non-Urgent Physical Access Concern

Students, submit a physical accessibility service request to the Disability Office. For urgent requests (i.e., elevator broken, push button issue, weather related, etc.) call Facilities at 978-934-2601.
