General Summary (Purpose) of Position
The department of Nursing invites applicants for full-time Open Rank Tenure Track Faculty position for individual with community or public health and health policy nursing experience.  This faculty member will assume a critical leadership role in the development and growth of the RN-BS degree completion option and blended/online course method for degree completion; and also have oversight and evaluation of the public health and community health Senior Role Practicum placements for the RNs in the BS degree completion option.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Earned Doctorate in area of expertise required; specialty certification and Advanced Practice Nursing role preparation preferred.
• Evidence of Massachusetts (or other state) licensure.
• Evidence of scholarship through professional publications, presentations or research funding.
• Demonstrated undergraduate teaching experience, especially in an RN-BS degree completion area.
• Experience with online/blended course format strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated potential for publications in scholarly journals.
• Demonstrated ability working with diverse student and faculty population.
• Degrees earned from international institutions must submit an evaluation report from the Center for Education Documentation (http://www.cedevaluations.com/).
