The Honors Fellows Fundraiser recognizes and celebrates retired faculty and staff who have made significant contributions to the legacy of undergraduate scholarship. The event also raises funds for the UML Honors Program. Tickets are $150 per person, which includes the reception with light dinner followed by the awards ceremony.
A group of alumni have been raising funds for the Jim Ciszek/Rusty Yarnall Fund. Jim and Rusty were athletic directors, coaches and friends to LSC & LTI students and athletes for over 75 total years between them. The group has raised $13,985 and the committee hopes to raise $25,000 to honor them. The group will be getting together for its annual spaghetti dinner on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Lenzi's in Dracut. Tickets are $25. Committee members are: Jim Hunt, Gary Hunt, Bob Boehm, Jim McGuirk, John Moore, Kevin Moulton, Leo Creegan, Al "Skip" Roper,Frank Georges; Hank Brown, Joe Dixon, Lee Uzdavinis, Riley, William, Roger Landry, Walter McGrail and Walter McHendry.
Come mark the 10th anniversary of the Center for Women and Work at a breakfast celebrating everyday advocates for working women. The breakfast will honor people who, through their “ordinary” actions, have had an extraordinary impact.
Come celebrate the beginning of Homecoming Weekend at an alumni gathering before the River Hawks Hockey team’s home opener. Enjoy appetizers and a cash bar. Tickets are $10, which includes admission to the game and the reception.
