Help a Student by Giving Insider Information
Students struggling with career decisions often need someone actually working in the profession to give them the real story on a particular career or industry. You can help UMass Lowell students with this important decision by joining the University Career Advisory Network (UCAN), a group of professionals, alumni and friends who have agreed to share their insight about their fields and career paths.
How it Works
Alumni and friends of the University who want to participate provide us with basic information about their careers. We keep this information in a database in the Office of Career Services and on our website. This information is accessible only to students and alumni who have registered through our office or website. When a student decides to pursue an informational interview, he or she makes contact in a manner the volunteer has chosen.
