UMass Lowell participates in the Joint Admissions program with the 15 public community colleges in Massachusetts.
Students selecting UML are conditionally accepted at the same time they enroll in the community college of their choice. If a joint admissions student completes a designated degree at the community college with a grade point average of 3.0 or better, he or she is also entitled to a one-third reduction of in-state tuition under the Tuition Advantage Program.
Both Joint Admissions and Tuition Advantage program are administered by the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education.
An Intent to Enroll Form is available so you can declare your desire to attend UMass Lowell following graduation from a community college.
