UCard Activation Steps

If you wish to use your UCard's declining balance (debit) features, you must first activate your card, similar to when you receive a new credit card or debit card in the mail. You may do this online or over the phone, whichever you prefer.

Online Activation:

  1. Have your UCard available and go to the one card website to activate your card. 
  2. Enter your 16 digit Card Number which begins with 627722 or 601813, found at the bottom of your card. 
  3. Enter your Current Access Code which is the last four (4) digits of your Card Number. 
  4. Enter your preferred New Access Code twice. 
    • Your Access Code (Password) is used to log into your online account
  5. Enter your preferred New PIN twice. 
    • Your PIN is used to make purchased at participating merchants. 
    • Your Access Code and PIN may be the sam
  6. You may now manage and use your UCard's debit features.

Phone Activation:

  1. Have your UCard available and call 866-678-7538.
  2. Select your language by pressing the appropriate number.
  3. Enter your 16 digit Card Number which begins with 627722 or 601813, found at the bottom of your card. 
  4. Enter your Current Access Code which is the last four (4) digits of your Card Number. 
  5. Press 1 to activate your card. 
  6. Enter your preferred New Access Code twice. 
    • Your Access Code (Password) is used to log into your online account
  7. Enter your preferred New PIN twice. 
    • Your PIN is used to make purchased at participating merchants. 
    • Your Access Code and PIN may be the same.
  8. You may now manage and use your UCard's debit feautres.

Manage Your UCard:

Once you have activated your UCard, you may log into account online to add UCash and check your balance, create a guest account, check your account history, and more.
